About

I'm a software engineer currently working with the SyteLine suite of products. As you may have guessed, I have a passion for understanding and designing systems of all kinds, whether they're expressed in software, hardware, algorithms, or something else entirely. In 2024, I graduated from Wittenberg University with departmental honors in computer science and math. My experience in college prepared me for working with different stations of the public, whether it was tutoring students in computer science or working research projects with professors (physics research, graphing calculator project, etc.). These opportunities contributed to my success in my current position working with business users, consultants, and executives.

In addition to my formal education and interests, I have gained hands-on experience through diverse roles such as chapter president of my fraternity, camp counselor for the Ohio Wesleyan junior League program, consultation agent for Geek Squad, and even as a construction worker. As well as equipping me with practical skills, these experiences have taught me to work in a team, act as a leader, communicate effectively and clearly (Geek Squad especially stressed this), and to get moving quickly in new environments.

At the end of the day, I'm a tinkerer driven by a fascination with understanding and designing things that make a difference. If you want a less-vague idea of what that entails, then this site is for you! This is where I document the creation of some of my favorite projects so that I can share my findings with others. If you stick around long enough, you may even learn something interesting yourself!
